Meaningful Connections that Matter

As individuals who have separate needs and interests, we are also connected and feel the need for connection with others.   Connection is strength and energy. When we can feel as one with ourselves, with others,  with the universe,  we live our healthiest happiest life. Connection supports our ability to thrive.   Our body constantly scans our environment for social cues.  Interactions shape our sense of self and others.

How do you prioritize meaningful connections in your life? Are we holding onto long-term friendships that no longer uplift us. We may need to set boundaries, our time is so valuable and we need to honor and trust that voice within.   Begin inviting good people into our lives, people who are generous listeners, who can hold space and show up in friendships.

Changing the way we find others by looking in different places where people are striving to be better. Relationships are vulnerable. We need to put ourselves out there and not take it personally if they aren’t feeling the same.   We’re all busy, but we can still build relationships by opening up and  keeping it simple by lowering bar for hosting~ be as you are make it easy order take out and just hang out.   Think about the people who make you feel most alive and appreciated

Let's cherish our connections and make time for what truly matters.   Connection to nature is also a nonnegotiable. Being unplugged and listening to the sounds, taking in the smells,  observing all of the life around you…soaking it all in. How do you feel when you connect with nature?" It’s almost the weekend, our son is coming home for a visit from college. We are planning outdoor activities and we have a favorite hiking spot we love to be in. In good health, Jennifer
