Holistic four ways to treat excessive hair fall

Tackling Hair Fall: A Holistic Approach to Healthy Hair

Hair fall is a growing concern for both men and women. While it's common to lose a certain amount of hair every day, noticing an unusual increase in hair strands on your pillow or in the shower can be worrisome. There are numerous potential causes for hair loss, including dietary choices, nutrient deficiencies, medications, underlying medical conditions, stress, pollution, and genetics. Additionally, prolonged use of certain hairstyles can contribute to hair thinning and breakage. Today, I’m sharing a holistic approach to stop hair fall and promote new hair growth.

Homemade Remedies to Control Hair Fall

1. Avocado and Banana Pack

Homemade hair packs are an effective way to improve hair texture, strengthen follicles, and achieve gorgeous, thick hair. Natural ingredients are chemical-free and can help prevent hair loss while increasing hair volume.

Ingredients:

- 1 medium-sized ripe avocado

- 1 small ripe banana

- 1 tablespoon of olive oil

Method:

1. Mash the avocado and banana together until smooth.

2. Add the olive oil and mix well.

3. Massage the mixture into your scalp and hair, covering the roots and tips.

4. Leave it on for 30-40 minutes.

5. Rinse with lukewarm water and use a mild shampoo.

2. Amla, Shikakai, and Coconut Oil Pack

This pack helps in preventing hair fall and promoting thick hair growth. Amla and Shikakai are traditional Ayurvedic ingredients rich in vitamin C, antioxidants, and flavonoids, which strengthen hair roots and stimulate growth.

Ingredients:

- 1 tablespoon of amla powder

- 1 tablespoon of shikakai powder

- 2 tablespoons of coconut oil

Method:

1. Heat the amla powder, shikakai powder, and coconut oil in a pan over medium flame.

2. Once it starts boiling, strain the mixture and let it cool to room temperature.

3. Massage the oil into your scalp and leave it for an hour or overnight.

4. Wash with cold or lukewarm water and a mild shampoo.

3. Best Oils for Strong Hair

Bhringraj Oil

Hair oil massages are a common tradition passed down through generations. Bhringraj oil is one of the best oils to prevent hair fall, improving blood flow to the roots and stimulating hair growth by activating hair follicles. The oil contains several minerals and vitamins that help prevent split ends, hair loss, and breakage.

Method:

1. Warm the oil before use to enhance deep penetration into the scalp.

2. Massage the warm oil into your scalp in a circular motion for 15 minutes.

3. Leave it in your hair for 30 minutes or overnight.

4. Wash off with a mild shampoo.

4. Dietary Considerations

The food we eat impacts our entire system, including organ function, blood flow, and metabolic rate, all of which affect hair follicles. A balanced diet rich in essential nutrients can significantly reduce hair fall.

Nutrient-Rich Juice Recipe:

- 1 medium-sized beetroot (boiled and chopped)

- 1 small carrot (washed and chopped)

- 2 small apples (peeled and chopped)

Method:

1. Blend all ingredients to form a thick juice.

2. Drink this juice twice a week.

Managing Stress

Stress is a major cause of hair fall. Learning to manage stress effectively can improve your overall health and reduce hair fall. Practice relaxation techniques, maintain a positive outlook, and ensure you have a stress-free work environment.

Final Tips

Taking care of your hair involves a combination of proper nutrition, stress management, and the use of natural hair treatments.
